Junction Hackathon 2016
Leading a team of designers and developers, at Junction Hackathon we built a website and designed visual elements for the branding, promotion and organization of one of the biggest hackathons in Europe. My tasks contain a bit of everything; Coordinating the team, website UX and development, Visuals etc.
For teamup I was responsible for the creation of the whole event branding, web development and visual elements (online and offline). Teamup saw around 15 teams forming, out of which a few ended up becoming companies, and the event became immediately a flagship event for Aaltoes.
This is an open source resource created by me and Tomi Hiltunen, a full stack developer. This resource contains devices that scale according to the aspect ratio, and in their screen area you can put any kind of information: from pictures to real code. This resource has 3000 stars (as of October 2016), and it gained notice from blogs and websites such as; Smashing Magazine and Codrops.
Soulplant was a project created by 4 other team members and me, as part of Junction Hackathon 2015. The project idea was a virtual flower, that would grow based on your concentration levels, with readings that would come through the Muse HeadBand. We have created also an Artificial Reality resource that could project that flower on a 3D-printed pot through your phone screen.
